Tuesday Evening Reflection
As the storm clouds have completely rolled away tonight, the whole evening feels still. There is a specific kind of freshness in the air after the rain has left—everything looks a little sharper, smells a little cleaner, and feels completely renewed.
Sometimes, our spiritual lives match the weather perfectly. You don’t realize how much fog you’ve been walking through until the wind blows it all away and leaves you with absolute, undeniable clarity.
Over the last few days, I’ve felt a profound shift in my spirit. It’s the peace that comes when you stop trying to force things that don't align with God’s truth, and you simply choose to stand firmly in the light. People will always have their own ways of handling things, and the world will always try to manage its own narrative, but when your heart is anchored in the Word, none of that noise can shake you. You don’t need validation from the world when you have confirmation from the Lord.
At home tonight, the indoor energy has finally settled down into comfort.
Remi is officially stretched out and resting, and the two kitties have finally paused to curl up for the night. Watching them resting is the perfect reminder of what total safety and contentment look like.
If you are winding down your Tuesday feeling a little weary from the storms of life, or if you’ve watched people show their true colors recently, just take a deep breath and let it go.
God sees it all, He knows your heart, and He is already paving the way for your next steps. You don’t have to fight for your peace when you are already resting in His hands.
Goodnight, everyone. The air is clear, the house is quiet, and our hearts are at rest.
