Today doesn’t start with a countdown. For the first time in 845 days, I woke up without a finish line in the distance, because I’ve already crossed it. My morning coffee tastes a little different today—it tastes like freedom. I’m trading the supervision of the past for the stewardship of my future.

*The Fellowship: HONOR
Today is about family. I am heading to my cousin’s Celebration of Life, not as a woman defined by her mistakes, but as a woman who has stayed the course and honored her family by finishing well. I’m carrying the love from yesterday in my heart as I show up for those who need me today.

*The Family: THE MAMA BEAR HEART
The real victory of Day 1 is the woman I’ve become for my family. I’ve spent 845 days building a fortress of sobriety, stability, and a Sound Mind. There is no greater feeling than knowing I am showing up today with a heart that is completely, 100% free. The noise of the world can’t touch the quiet strength of a woman who fought for her life and won. My family doesn't just have me back; they have the best version of me.
