Snowed In, Snuggled Up, and Standing on Faith

*Current Status:
Bundled in blankets with two puppies, and a 9-15" snow forecast. ❄️☕️

Well, Indiana isn't doing anything halfway this year! Just days after our Hoosiers clinched the National Championship with a perfect 16-0 season, we are being met with a historic Long Duration Snow Event. For those of us in the 9-15" zone, travel will be basically impossible—and for me, that is a blessing in disguise.

Restoration in the Quiet:
With my latest labs showing my A1c and TSH both at 11.6, my body has been screaming for rest. Between the cold/flu symptoms I've been feeling and that icy shock from the broken water heater, being forced to stay home is exactly what the Great Physician ordered, so I’m choosing to let the snow bury the stress of the week.
Shiloh and Remington are loving the extra snuggles. As I watch the snow start to fall, I’m reminding myself that even when things feel frozen or difficult, restoration is always the end of the story.
* Hoosier Pride: Still smiling about that 27-21 win over Miami.
*Shiloh Peace: Grateful for a warm home and a full prayer board.

Stay safe, stay warm, and stay "Hoosier Strong." If you’re out in this, please be careful—but if you’re like me, just enjoy the stillness.
