**Coffee of the day:** A double-shot espresso with a side of "Still Standing." ☕️💪
Friends, if I’m being honest, this week has felt like a whirlwind. Have you ever had one of those weeks where the past tries to come back and rewrite your future? Where every time you close one door, it feels like someone is trying to kick another one open?
I’ve spent the last few days navigating some high-stakes legal hurdles, managing my Type 1 Diabetes through intense stress, and dealing with people who seem determined to see me fail.
But here is the hope I found in the middle of it all:
*You are your own best advocate. Sometimes, you have to be the one to pick up the digital pen, cite the facts, and say, "I am here, and I will not be silenced."
* The truth doesn't need to shout. Even when anonymous callers or manufactured accusations try to stir up trouble, a calm, documented truth is much more powerful than a loud lie.
* Restoration is a process, not a destination. My word for 2026 is RESTORE. I realized this week that restoration often requires clearing the ground first. That means facing old warrants, clearing up old misunderstandings, and setting firm boundaries.
* Peace is a choice. Even when I was told I couldn't appear virtually, or when my health felt the weight of the world, I chose to stay in my "Shiloh." I chose to trust the process and use the tools I have (like my voice and my rights).
To anyone out there feeling sifted or overwhelmed: Do not let the shadows of the past dim the light of your today. You are stronger than the paperwork filed against you. You are more resilient than your diagnosis. And you are never walking this path alone.
We are clearing the way for a bright future. We are clearing the way for a healthy body. We are clearing the way for a restored family.
Tell me in the comments: What is one "mountain" you are speaking to this week?
