The Monday Night Ledger: Day 840 ☕️🛡️📈
*The Word: STEWARDSHIP
Today was a "TCB" (Taking Care of Business) kind of day. I walked into the office at 6:30 AM and hit the ground running. My territory is expanding—I had two new facilities added to my plate today, along with 19 resident refunds, monthly taxes, and closing out the month's Lowe's invoices. It feels good to be trusted with more responsibility. It’s a reminder that even when the personal side of life feels heavy, my work is a testimony to what 840 days of clarity can build.
*The Work: PROTECTING THE PEACE
I’ve realized that sometimes the most "Restored" thing you can do is stay silent. I’m choosing not to engage in the noise or defend my journey to those who want to keep me in a box labeled "The Past." We finished our study on Ruth at church yesterday, and if she taught me anything, it’s that your reputation is built by your consistency in the field, not by your arguments at the gate.
*The Win: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
The win today wasn't just the work I finished; it was the peace I protected. I’m learning that I don't have to show up to every argument I’m invited to. Tonight, I’m resting, letting everyone else fend for themselves for dinner, and recharging for tomorrow.
*840 days sober. 51 days to the finish line on May 6th. The "Ark" is built and the water is rising, but I am safe inside. 🏁🛡️🕊️
