Tonight, as the air clears and the medicine begins to work, I am laying my physical pain at the foot of the Cross. I’ve learned that a *Sound Mind* finds joy in a clean home and a quiet evening. I’m trading the pain caused by the weather for the stillness of some down time. I am a daughter of the King, and my home is a sanctuary of peace.

Tonight’s "latte" is the warmth of a soft blanket and the glow of the television. I’m leaning into the positive—the fact that I am organized, employed, and empowered. I’m trading the noise of the legal battle for the the peace of a restful night. I am a daughter of the King, and I am deserving of this rest.
