Sometimes the best way to shake off a "giving up" feeling is to just wash it down the drain. Even though I was finished for the day, there’s a certain peace that comes with a clean kitchen and a job well done. I’m leaning into the positive—the fact that I have the energy to reclaim my space, one plate at a time. (Proverbs 14:1).

Today’s latte is a laugh at my own stubbornness. I’m trading the house noise for the sparkle of a tidy home. I’m not letting the fact that I've not felt well distract me from the small, bubbly victories at the sink. I am a steward of my home, even when I’m being an overachiever.

The win tonight is the finished feeling. Work is done, pigs in a blanket were served, and the dishes are put away. I am standing firm in my restoration, managing my life with a sense of humor and a very clean drying rack.
