Welcome, friends! I am so glad you have found your way to my little corner of the internet.
If this is our first time connecting, my name is Crystal. By day, I work in the fast-paced world of Accounts Payable, managing month-end deadlines and trying to keep things in order. But my most favorite titles in the world are Mom, and "CiCi" to my beautiful grandchildren.
I decided to start this blog because I believe in the power of an honest story. In a world full of social media highlight reels, I wanted to create a space that is authentic, a little bit gritty, and filled with hope.
Here is a little bit about what you will find in this space:
*Honesty About the Hard Stuff: My life hasn't been a straight or easy path. I have walked through incredibly dark valleys, survived abuse, and faced the heavy, suffocating weight of alcohol addiction. I am currently in the process of writing my autobiography, titled "The Grace of Falling Apart", because hitting rock bottom was the terrifying, beautiful shattering that actually saved my life.
*The Journey of Rebuilding:Today, I am sober, actively taking charge of my health, and doing the deep, quiet work of repairing relationships and setting healthy boundaries. I am walking proof that no matter how far gone you think you are, it is never too late to turn things around.
*Faith and Everyday Peace: You will hear a lot about Jesus here. Surrendering my anger and leaning into my faith gave me a steady anchor I never had before. Whether I am snuggling a baby, facing a doctor's appointment, or just trying to survive a Tuesday at the office, I am learning to carry my own quiet peace into every situation.
This blog is a place to share the daily walk of life—the victories, the struggles, and the gentle reminders to give ourselves grace. Whether you are navigating your own difficult rebuilding season, or you just need a little encouragement to get through your workday, there is a spot for you here.
Thank you for being here, and I can't wait to share this journey with you!
